I don't know why I love this one, but I do. Behold the Condiment Packet Gallery. I stumbled on this one via Design Observer, but this doesn't seem to be any sort of design project - just a guys collection that started because he decided there was no sense in spending money on ketchup. It developed into a collection that he has put online with great detail. You can see his collection sorted by type of condiment or brand name, as well as click on individual packets for closeups. Condiment packets are rarely examples of good design, it seems as though they are probably afterthoughts in that respect, but in some sort of great way, they are unintentional icons of consumer culture.
