Some shots from the first two houses on the Architecture Home Tour from the Ca Boom V show this weekend. The first is a home addition in Mar Vista in an entire tract of homes originally by the same architect, Greg Ain. It was amazing to see the whole neighborhood of the houses - I definitely want to try to find that area again. The architect (of the addition) mentioned that Ain's original concept was "houses in a park", so originally no houses had fences between their yards. It was easy to imagine how nice that must have been. The second was a new pre-fab home by Redbarn. (Its for sale, by the way.) I wasn't a fan of the fake stone on the front, but I liked the other matching RedBarn home next door with a wood exterior. More pics from other homes coming in the next days.
